The coats of arms for the seven residential houses, Lowell, Dunster, Winthrop, Eliot, Kirkland, Adams and Leverett are also prominently featured. The compass rose design is reminiscent of the Coney Seal from 1693, and the cartouche includes the school's coat of arms. In the upper left corner, you can find depictions of Harvard College in 1726 and the iconic John Harvard statue.
