Kinsella & Pulse, LLC "Opening Night"

Following the compulsively layered collage of their Kill Rock Stars debut, Giddy Skelter, Kinsella & Pulse, LLC felt inclined to evoke simpler times by foregrounding the performances instead of the production. They dropped Ableton & turned to attentive study of Carole Kaye & Hal Blaine. They enlisted Tim’s old bandmate from Joan of Arc, Theo Katsaounis, as a multi-instrumentalist, & hit the road to workshop the songs live, playing dozens of shows across the US & UK over a period of four months. & That set that they played each night became the foundation of their new album, Open ing Night.
